  • DATA PROCESSING RELATED TO CONTACT, REQUESTS FOR QUOTES, AND COMMUNICATION

If you contact us with a question or request, we process the personal data you provide in your message, e-mail, postal letter, or telephone call for the purpose of communicating with you and responding to your enquiry. The legal basis for the data processing is your voluntary consent (GDPR Article 6(1)(a)).

You may withdraw your consent at any time, without justification, without restriction and free of charge, by sending a request to drszucsbencezsolt@szbzslaw.hu, by telephone at +36 70 943 2751, or by post (postal address: 1056 Budapest, Váci utca 81., 4th floor).

Via the ‘Contact’ menu item you may contact us by providing your name, e-mail address and telephone number; in doing so we process, in addition to the data provided, any further personal data disclosed in the message. Your message is received at drszucsbencezsolt@szbzslaw.hu, access to which is restricted.

In the case of telephone enquiries, we process your personal data only if further contact, a response or complaint handling is required. In the case of postal letters, we record the sender’s name, address, subject of the letter and date of delivery.

Personal data processed in connection with enquiries shall be deleted following the cessation of the purpose of processing, but no later than 5 years after the communication of the data.

The statistical data processing is a joint controllership between Dr. Szűcs Bence Zsolt Law Firm and Facebook Ireland Ltd. Who may have access to your personal data?

Courts, the public prosecutor’s office, and other authorities authorised by law may contact our Firm for information. We disclose only the extent strictly necessary to achieve the purpose of the request. Our Firm uses data processors who act on behalf of our Firm.

DATA SECURITY

Is my data safe?

Yes. In order to preserve the security and confidentiality of the data, our Firm applies IT and organizational measures to prevent unauthorized use, destruction, or alteration.

The confidentiality of paper documents is ensured by storage in lockable cabinets in a secured building. Electronic data is only accessible to employees with specific access rights. We apply backups, password-protected systems, and activity logging.


INCIDENT MANAGEMENT

The Law Firm keeps a record of any personal data breaches and reports them to the Hungarian National Authority for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (NAIH) no later than 72 hours after becoming aware of the breach, unless it is unlikely to result in a risk to the rights of data subjects.
